How to protect Facebook account from getting hacked

Most of the people we know about Facebook. Most people around the world engage with Facebook. Facebook is a platform where posting pictures, making new friends, talking with audio calls and talking with video calls can be done on Facebook. With Facebook we can connect with people all over the world. I can watch various videos and posts by friends through Facebook. I can enjoy various entertainment through Facebook. After opening an account on Facebook we can make many friends. But one problem is that when we open a Facebook account and make many friends with that ID, some bad people get hacked as a result. And by hacking Facebook ID, they destroy the ID, blackmail, defamation, and extortion etc. They do more bad things by having Facebook ID. Many offenders are not caught because of these crimes on the internet and they continue to harm people.




Facebook is personal thing to everyone. And if that ID is something many of us go after. One thing to know is that our Facebook ID gets hacked because of some mistakes. After opening Facebook ID, there are many settings that we do not even know our ID gets hacked. Protecting Facebook's security is very important in preventing Facebook ID hacking.



What to do to prevent Facebook Hack


  •  Enter security and Logon in Facebook setting and turn on Two Factor Authentication. Then Add the phone number you use Two Factor Authentication. Then when you login to Facebook, a code will go to the number you use for Two Factor Authentication and you will be able to login to Facebook using that code. This will give a code to your number when someone else is accessing your Facebook account. And without that code, no other person can enter.

  • The link is sent via Facebook massage and the ID is hacked as soon as the link is clicked. The links with  which the ID is hacked are called phishing link. So it's important to be careful before clicking on a link. Try to recognize the phishing link and refrain from clicking the link if someone sends it.

  • Remember to link to your profile so that if the ID is hacked it can be used as a reference.

  • Enter in Facebook settings, go to security & logon and check if you are connected to any other device, remove those devices if connected to another device.

  • Enter the Facebook setting, go to security and logon and add up to 5 trusted contacts in setting up extra security.

  • If you have opened the Facebook ID with the email then you must remember the password of that email and keep that email two factor authentication enabled.

After opening a Facebook account and doing the above, you can safely run your Facebook ID. But anything can happen at anytime on the online platform. So it is important to do everything carefully online. If the Facebook ID is hacked after doing the above, contact the Cybercrime and police station in your area.
