TikTok leaves Facebook behind, number 1 in downloading

Smart phones and the Internet, which have reached almost every hand, have covered the geographical distances of the world in some apps. Facebook is at the forefront of major social media sites and apps used prominently. Statistics show that Facebook dominated the mobile app world in this decade.

During this time, Facebook reached 460 million phones. At the same time, Facebook Messenger stood second in this case. However, in the matter of downloads this year, Tiktock has taken the first place in the challenge of Facebook's king.

 

According to the ranking released by mobile marketing data company Appeni, Facebook also owns WhatsApp in the third place in terms of downloads. WhatsApp was bought by Facebook in 2014 for US $ 1900 million. App Annie released this ranking by analyzing the data of downloaded apps during 2010 to 2019.

According to this, the number of Facebook downloads fell to 11 percent in 2019 before falling to the top of the list. Seven of the top 10 apps downloaded are social media or communication apps.
