Design and Build Quality
Reno 3 Pro has a dimension of 160.3×74.3×8 mm and Weight's about 181
gram where as OnePlus 7t has a dimension of 160.9×74.4×8.1 mm and
Weight's about 190 gram. Therefore weight distribution is done slightly
better in Oppo Reno 3. Coming bro build quality both have glass to its
front and back which have gorilla glass 5 protection. Both the Phone's
have dual sim slot and to add to this Oppo Reno has support for
dedicated micro SD card slot. Coming to speakers Oppo Reno 3 only has a
single firing loud speaker while OnePlus 7t comes with Stereo speaker
setup. To add to this OnePlus also have Dolby Atmos support.Both phone's
comed with in display fingerprint scanner and both are fast and
accurate also both Phone have Type C usb. Oppo Reno 3 is available in
four colour varient's ( White, black, starry night blue, Sunrise) and
OnePlus 7t is available in two colour varient's ( Frosted silver and
Glacier blue ). Both Phone's have excellent build quality sonit really
comes to what you as a customer need. So this round is for you guys to
choose which design you want.
Display
OnePlus 7t has a 6.55 inch super amoled display with a screen to body
ratio of 86.5% while Oppo Reno 3 has a 6.4 inch super amoled display
with a screen to body ratio of 83%. The pixel per inch density in Oppo
Reno 3 is 411 while it's 402 in OnePlus 7t. The major thing to note here
is that OnePlus has 90hz refresh rate which makes the screen response
fast and scrolling fluid. Media conseption wise both are same and also
there was no difficulty in viewing under sun light.As both are Amoled
the colour reproduction was great. If we have to choose one I would
choose OnePlus 7t simply due to its higher refresh rate.
Performance
Oppo Reno 3 has Mediatek latest flagship Density 1000L chipset while
OnePlus has Snapdragon 855+ which is last year flagship from Snapdragon.
Mediatek Density 1000L support's 5g while Snapdragon doesn't support
it. The performance in Oppo Reno 3 is much better compared to OnePlus.
Oppo Reno 3 has better gaming performance too. So perform round goes to
Oppo Reno 3.
Camera
Oppo Reno 3 has quad camera 64 MP f/1.8 main sensor paired with 8MP
f/2.2 ultrawide lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth and dedicated macro lens.
OnePlus 7t has a 48 MP f/1.6 main sensor paired with 12 MP f/2.2
telephoto lens and a 16 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens. The main sensor in Oppo
Reno 3 takes better photo than the OnePlus 7t. OnePlus 7t has the
telephoto lens which the Oppo Reno 3 lacks while OnePlus lacks the macro
lens. Both Phone's could shoot video at 4k in 30 fps. Coming to the
front camera OnePlus has a 16 MP f/2.0 lens while Oppo Reno 3 has 32 MP
f/2.0 lens. Oppo takes better selfie's than the OnePlus. Both the
phone's could shoot videos at 1080p in 30 fps. Camera round goes to Oppo
as it has better back camera main sensor and a much better selfie
camera.
Battery
Oppo Reno 3 has 4025 Mah battery which would last for around one day
easily and could give a screen on time of 6 hrs while OnePlus 7t has
3800 Mah battery which would last less than one day and would provide a
screen on time of five and half hours. Both Phone's has 30W fast
charger. So battery round goes to Oppo due to slightly better battery.
Software
Both the phone's run Android 10 under custom skin. Oppo Reno 3 has color
Os while OnePlus 7t has Oxygen Os. Oxygen Os is better in terms fo
performance,user stability and provide's better user experience. Color
Os has some great features but it simply cannot match to Oxygen Os. So
software round goes to OnePlus 7t.
CONCLUSION
Oppo Reno 3 will be a better choice over the OnePlus 7t as it has better
performance, better front camera and battery life. So if you are
planning to buy a device between them go for Oppo Reno 3 unless you want
the Oxygen Os software experience.
