A Facebook-owned social
networking app has added a new feature called 'Caption Warning' to Instagram.
This anti-bullying (bullying-threatening or intimidating) tool will give the
user a notification of intimidating or intimidating captions. If anyone tries
to intimidate a user by posting a video or a photo post, this tool will give
the user a notification of 'This caption looks similar to others that
have been reported'. The notification allows users to edit the text,
click a button to learn more or share their post anyway.
After the user receives the
notification, the user can block or report another bullying user. Last October,
Instagram added a feature called Restrict. This feature will allow the user to
'restrict' the bullying user. Comments made by 'Restrict' are visible only to
users who have been Restrict.
Instagram will find a bullying
user with the help of Artificial Intelligence. Instagram will now inform the
user about other users threatening them through comments.
The new feature will alert users
that they have written a comment for a feed post that was later identified as
Instagram's AI for bullying. Instagram says these little glances give users
only time to rethink their words.
